Box front
The kit has opening S-foil wings that can split into attack position, deploying in an "X" configuration, and optional landing gear.
Finished model is 20.3cm (8 inches) long. Display stand is included, and water slide decals are supplied on separate sheet.
• Kit was included in Space Vehicles Model Set (No. 960217) in 1983.
• This Airfix kit is reissue of MPC kit number 1-1971.
• Previous year, 1983, Airfix has released another X-Wing kit. It was in 1/43 scale, packed in "New Hope" styled box.
