This set was very well received by buyers in Europe, and there are reports that it has sold better than individual versions of these models.

This Airfix set is unique, because it hasn't been released by any other company. The only similar item is the MPC/ERTL set No. 8912 from 1992, but it includes only three snap kits - B-Wing Fighter, X-Wing Fighter and TIE Interceptor.
