Special light kit (which requires two C-size batteries) is included to illuminate the interior, cockpit and rear jets. The laser cannons are also illuminated.
Three seated figures came with the kit: Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca and Han Solo.
One of the problems with this model is that the sidewalls are too high (compared to the model seen in the movies), but a special resin correction kit can be obtained to correct this.
Finished model is over 45 cm (18 inches) long.
• Kit is based on the ILM model from Star Wars-A New Hope, which had only three legs. Model from The Empire Strikes Back has five legs.
• This Airfix kit is reissue of MPC kit number 1-1925.

Flown by Lando Calrissian and his new co-pilot, Nien Numb, the rugged Millennium Falcon leads a Rebel Alliance fighter assault force against the Imperial Armada and their new Death Star in the most spectacular space battle of all time.
