Model is over 20.3cm (8 inches) long, with wingspan of over 50.8cm (20 inches). It has folding wings that allows the model to be displayed in either its landing or flying configuration. Ramp can be extended. The kit also features optional landing gear and a tinted cockpit windshield.
Supplied with the kit are display stand and figures of two pilots and Darth Vader.


Notes

• Airfix "Return of the Jedi" poster came with the kit as a gift, and that was advertised on the box with the yellow sticker.
• In 1983 Airfix catalog it was listed as "Top Secret" kit.
• This Airfix kit is reissue of MPC kit number 1-1920.


Description from the MPC box

An all-new Imperial Shuttle craft appears in RETURN OF THE JEDI... the Tydirium flown by Darth Vader. The unique folding-wing craft with the huge stabilizer fin becomes a major part of the action as it is flown by Rebel raiding party in a sneak attack through the Empire`s defenses on the planet Endor.
